While hesitant to meet on dating apps, Rachel and Robert decided there was enough of a spark to give each other a chance. After chatting extensively on the phone, they set up a date for tacos and margaritas. Soon after their first date, Rachel had an upcoming trip planned with a friend. Robert agreed to drive her to the airport. While on the trip, Rachel remembers the never-ending phone calls and the feeling of falling in love with Richard. Upon her return, Robert met Rachel at the airport once again. He had brought her a meal from a party over the weekend and sealed their relationship through his mindfulness — and the seafood leftovers.
Rachel and Robert’s wedding highlighted a sophisticated North Carolina flair through textural decor and an earthy essence. Junction West, a reworked industrial space in Raleigh, lent its modern interiors for this intimate wedding. The couple was married in the outdoor courtyard, where they stood alongside two pillars of wildly-inspired florals. Rachel wore a stunning Ines Di Santo gown, where applique flowers created a semi-sheer illusion bodice that melted into a fitted crepe skirt. The earthy color palette embraced natural textures and refined florals. This included wild greenery, as well as muted brown and pink flowers. Rounding out the lively but sophisticated color palette were champagne tones, taupes, blues, and terracottas.
We’re just madly, head over heels in love with the monogram magic logo they created for their wedding!
Tabletops were covered in textured fabrics, with a golden floral overlay atop blue linens. The intimate family-style dinner was beautifully stylized, but the couple made a point to highlight their playful personalities. Custom hot sauces were designed as part of their escort cards, set as a beautiful shelf display. Rachel and Robert incorporated a custom logo onto their hot sauce wedding favors, the bar menu, charcuterie boards, and their takeaway mini pizza boxes. After dinner, the couple shared in an invigorating confetti-covered first dance.
Their custom logo also made a stellar appearance on the wedding cake!
