Modern Vineyard Wedding with Blush and Burgundy Details
Today’s modern vineyard wedding with blush and burgundy details was certainly one for the books. Personalized contemporary touches, helped this event hit the high mark on theme and design. Though their original destination wedding plans did not work out, they couldn’t be that mad about it with a day like this! Keep on reading to see why the picturesque fields of grapevines and olive trees cannot be upstaged.
With the natural scenic beauty of the winery, This Love of Yours was able to get the most breath-taking photos. The rich colored florals will shine right through your screen!
KLM Event Design was on their A-game for this day! Every detailed element, from wine-colored floral arrangements to modern acrylic signs, was thought of.
It’s easy to spot that the floral designs from The Flower House were a highlight of this day. These beautiful arrangements will make you think of your favorite merlot or cabernet.
Our bride, Lauren, wore a stunning Ines di Santo ivory gown, with a low back and contrasting white embroidery.
Unified in color, varied in style, these Bella Bridesmaids gowns in a deep dusty rose hue were an exceptional compliment to this winery wedding.
From the event coordinator, KLM Event Design: Lauren and Ryan had a summer wedding at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, California. After a hurricane devastated their original US Virgin Island wedding destination, their love for wine brought them to Northern California. Wente’s modern, outdoor venue space was the perfect setting for their special day and was certain to give their guests a true taste of wine country.
The ceremony was held on the private estate of the Wente family between two rows of large olive trees surrounded by acres of budding grape vines. Guests were transported by trolleys and greeted with glasses filled with chilled rose. To add to the tranquil backdrop, a circular arch dressed with lush blooms in shades of blush and magenta stood behind the bride and groom and loose petals were spread throughout the aisle. After the “I dos”, guests showered the newlyweds with dried lavender and headed to another Wente property for the reception.
The color palette began as a simple burgundy and white, but floral inspiration led to incorporating blush, peach, and magenta tones throughout adding an extra pop to the design.
The bridesmaids wore cinnamon rose, floor-length dresses in varying styles and carried bouquets filled with lush garden roses and touches of greenery and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos. The bride wore a fitted, lace Ines di Santo gown and the groom a custom charcoal and black tuxedo.
Blush and burgundy accents filled the reception space and acrylic signage brought the modern touch the bride and groom desired. Colorful floral centerpieces, acrylic table numbers, blush, crystal cut water goblets, and gray linens dressed the tables. To finish the look, handwritten place cards and custom wax sealed menus were added to each place setting.
To surprise the groom, a native of the US Virgin Islands, a rum cake in the shape of the USVI flag was created and was the perfect way to incorporate the islands into the wedding.
Although the couple’s English bulldog, Benson, was not able to attend the wedding, he still had quite a presence. Bar napkins as well as his and her cocktail menus were centered around the sweet pup and were a favorite touch among the guests.
Café lights were strung across the property and lounge seating surrounded the white dance floor. Guests danced the night away with glow tubes and ended the evening with sliders and french fries. The new Mr. and Mrs. stylishly parted ways with their guests in a white, Jaguar convertible.
Lauren and Ryan’s modern style and desire for an intimate wedding paired effortlessly with the décor and venue at Wente and was the perfect way to celebrate #BecomingtheBerrys!
