Modern Tropical Wedding Inspiration
We’ve seen it so many times now that it’s pretty much a given — Delovely Creative just knows how to create gorgeous events. This modern tropical wedding inspiration shoot brings beach-y styling to an industrial setting, for a styled shoot that ends up being nothing short of honest to goodness perfection with the added help of Blush Wedding Photography!
From the photographer, Kristy of Blush Wedding Photography: Our shoot idea explored romantic meets tropical with hints of geometric styling. When the term “romantic” is used, often vintage elements come to mind, so the goal of this shoot was to infuse ethereal romance with modern, off beat style. The team wanted to pull from the current geometric tend, without it being hard or too overly edgy.
Additionally, Vancouver can be a grey place at times, leaving brides wistfully dreaming of a sunny tropical backdrop. Use of protea, tillandsia and quirky tropical fruit in the decor styling, add a nod to the tropics, while embracing a down to earth, west coast feel. The dress, pulled from Vancouver’s The Block, ads to the clean modern feel of the shoot, and allows the subtly tropical palette to shine through. By blending industrial design elements and architecture with dreamy lighting, raw natural crystals and punchy colours, it creates a totally unique vibe, perfect for the urban stylish bride.
