Modern Romantic Wedding with Boho Details

Today’s wedding is a bit of a palate cleanser, with refreshingly clean design and a crisp color palette of pinky-reds, green, and white. Sophie Epton Photography captured Hannah and Sean’s celebration, which featured a hearty dose of greenery and beautiful anemones arranged by Merveille Events. Congratulations to the happy newlyweds!

From the photographer, Sophie Epton Photography: What happens when you combine a gorgeous bride and groom, a beautiful modern venue, and a Calvin Klein meets boho romantic aesthetic – it’s going to be one heck of a wedding day! Sean and Hannah, who have been dating for 8 years since high school, wanted a wedding that just felt like THEM. Hannah loves fashion and could be a model herself, while Sean is a laid-back engineer who spends his free time skateboarding (and has for years.) The two combined their personalities and injected it into Prospect House, an incredible modern venue planted in the Hill Country of Dripping Springs, Texas. Hannah was immediately drawn to the stark, white walls and clean lines of the building, and felt like she could really make everything her own with a unique vision. And it really was!

Hannah wanted to keep things simple and clean with a fashion-forward minimalism that matched the look of the venue, yet have details such as romantic florals and bohemian furniture that still evoked a sense of warmth. She combined elements such as modern tables punctuated with clean, jewel-toned florals and indigo-dip dyed runners with Peacock chairs and a wall of straight-lined stems. Even the ceremony was a balancing act of the two looks, as a simple but statement-worthy geometric ceremony altar was decorated with a light draping of greenery amongst a pathway of vintage runners. The whole wedding felt so much like being welcomed to their home (but the most beautiful home at that!) and the perfect, sunny day was full of so many laughs, thoughtful moments and beauty. What a wedding to remember!
