Free-Spirited Glam Wedding in Greenville with Warm Tones
Rusty pinks with pops of copper, fluffy beige pampas grass and feathery textures is just the beginning of this modern boho wedding in Greenville, South Carolina. We love the warm tones and the modern touches, especially the custom-made bridal cape that is truly a showstopper. The floral installations and bridal bouquet by Laurel Creek Florals stopped us mid-scroll and we’re mesmerized by the creative use of texture and rusty hues that create a cozy boho vibe. We are seriously obsessing over all the photos by Simply Korsun Photography so hold onto your hats, folks because this one’s a beaut!
From the bride: We were new to Charlotte when we picked our wedding location. Coming from Florida (tons of beach weddings) we wanted something with a little more character for our day that could feel exciting to both parties (Michigan attendees and Florida attendees). We searched Asheville, Charleston and Charlotte but when we visited Greenville it just felt so cozy and was such a hidden gem. Being from Florida, I couldn’t believe I had never heard of Greenville because it has to be one of my favorite cities in the US!
My mom and I visited The White Magnolia in Tampa and I fell in love with my Mikaella (style #2208 for reference) dress. I felt that the high slit was a perfect modern touch to the classic bodice style. But what I loved most was the low cut back- I knew I didn’t want a traditional veil and wanted to explore something more chic and boho like a cape veil. I had my cape veil made specifically for my dress by a woman from Poland who’s Etsy shop I found called LetTheBrideBe. It had beautiful draped beaded detail and easily clipped onto the spaghetti straps of my dress. If I could’ve worn that the whole night I would have.
Our dog, Macy, was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. We had to include her, she’s more family to us than most. Our friends son, Roman, was so happy to walk with her down the aisle. One of the reasons we picked an outdoor ceremony location was to include Macy in our big day.
