Modern Boheme Wedding Inspiration with Ombre Florals
We’re gearing up for the weekend with this modern boheme wedding inspiration from a phenomenal team of wedding creatives based in Washington. It’s no secret that we have a sort of reverence for fine art styling, and this spice tone story kicks it up a notch on the creative belt. Harsh lines are met with fluid motion. Bold colors are met with soft ombre fades. Natural light is met with a dim glow of drippy wax candles. You’re seriously in for a treat in the gallery below!
Photography artist, Anna Peters, immerses us in this bespoke experience with her captures of all 5 senses. We can just taste the fluffy crust of the sugared lemon tartlets now!
Cultivated with intention and wrought with beauty, Simply by Tamara Nicole designed every element with a devoted eye for perfection.
If pictures say 1000 words, then we’d be willing to bet this one says 2000. Gather Design Company created an elongated wave of blooms loosely trailing up the staircase in dutiful composure.
The bride’s gown from Jonathan Simkhai is another statement maker. With a high neck silhouette and dramatic patterned lace, we are in a daze!
Vintage engagement ring splendor from Green Lake Jewelry Works !
The groom’s suit from Trillium Tailor is sharp indeed.
And nothing tops this textured cake with ruffled icing from Lilac Cake Boutique!
Canvas Event Space provided the picture perfect ambiance for the contemporary scene.
While Grey and Cake designed this illustrated invitation suite based on the delicate bloom muses which grace the whole story.
From the floral designer, Amy of Gather Design Company : When designing this editorial, we were initially inspired by the intricate, layered Jonathan Simkhai dress. It is modern and fresh, but has a bit of sway and boho feel to it. We built a warm color palette in creams, yellows, tans, taupes, apricots, and oranges, with pops of strength from black elements such as the earrings, flatware, and candles. For florals, we used the best that spring has to offer: ranunculus, garden roses, sweet peas, tulips, and poppies, and also incorporated a mix of dried flowers for added dimension. The installation aimed to soften the hard lines in the stairwell with a curved crescent shape.
And how bout these bold tassel earrings from Oscar De La Renta?
Happy Camper Cocktail Company provided citrusy drinks that are totally clink-worthy.
The table came together with details from CORT Party Rental , Convivial Production and BBJ Linens , resulting in an intimate feast we’d pull up a chair to in a heartbeat.
We’re loving this striking makeup artistry from Yessie Libby. Eyebrow goals!
We’ll be honest, our mouths start to water every time we glimpse these savory hors d’oeuvres from Ravishing Radish .
This botanical mural from loveCOLORAY is further proof that statement wallpaper is king.
