Modern Art Deco Glam
I may or may not be biased when I say Art Deco inspired weddings are always one of my favorites. I had one myself and would do it again in a heartbeat. With a team of event designers Tamara Menges Designs and Swift and Company and with Two Be Wed planning everything, they gave a modern spin on the classic with lots handmade and creative touches that I will be pinning my little heart out today. All captured by Christa Elyce.

From Christa Elyce: As Emerald was declared the color of 2013 we were immediately inspired by these gem depression glasses to set the theme. A modern and glamorous twist to a Gatsby affair. A mix of couture and DiY bride elements like the emerald platter installation easily made and set a scenery for the ceremony altar. Calligraphy written escort “cards” — on little porcelain plates! Two Be Wed and PH Design collaboratively created an invitation suite that roars art deco era! 20’s Design carried through out in other elements like the cake and the detail in the Bride’s dress and headpiece from BHLDN.
