Modern and Linear Wedding Inspiration
We see what stylists Taylor and Katherine from Aisle Planner mean when they laid eyes on the venue for this place: it’s the perfect spot for creativity to run rampant and theirs sure did with this trendy, contemporary wedding shoot by Cavin Elizabeth Photography. It’s full of razor-sharp lines, clean and bright colors, and just the slightest dash of romance from the florals by The Flower Shop; because we all need a dash of romance, right?
From the stylists, Taylor Hollman and Katherine Oyer from Aisle Planner: Sharp geometrics, defined lines and a stark black-and-white palette come together to create modern wedding inspo like you’ve never seen in this perfectly styled shoot. The Romantik Studio made for a killer setting—their clean-slate studio provided stylists Tayler Hollman and Katherine Oyer of Aisle Planner the perfect blank canvas to play with, and Cavin of Cavin Elizabeth Photography captured their vision beautifully. Hollman and Oyer dressed the bride-for-the-day in an ethereal pleated piece from The Dress Theory that softened up the sharpness of the shoot perfectly, and really set the scene for what we can only describe as oh-so-chic modern romance.
Lucky To Be In Love created a marbled invitation suite as mesmerizing as they come, and Amy Samuel of The Flower Shop crafted wild, sprawling floral arrangements that managed to feel both sharp and soft. Greenery as bright as it was lush played perfectly against soft white roses—and both were complemented by pops of pink and dusty lavender ranunculi.
The oh-so dreamy florals sat pretty against a scene that was sharp and super defined. The tablescape embodied the definition of modern with its black-and-white palette brought to life through polygon plates and place mats boasting oh-so-pretty patterns. The gold chairs provided by Folklore Rentals where the show-stopping and added modern and masculine lines to the scene. Gold flatware and airy gold-wire chairs added a touch of metallic that really brought the shoot to life, and—our favorite part—Jenny Wenny Cakes handcrafted a two-tiered cake that encompassed the aesthetic of the entire scene in one (super tasty) treat. The stylish spread was complete with unbelievable poke plate provided by Waters Catering and Fine Foods—and blackberry mojitos we’re still washing it all down.
