From the event designer, Camden of Emerson Events: I was looking to create something fresh, new and modern, while keeping some natural raw elements. After a few brainstorming sessions, I developed my theme. My tabletop inspiration came from an old tree branch that I had picked up at a site visit for a client. I knew I wanted to incorporate it with some mixed metals and different textures. After a trip to a local fabric shop, I picked my color palette.

The venue I chose is local OKC restaurant, Red Prime. They had the perfect setting with the exposed brick and natural lighting. I gave the baker creative range with her design, and she executed it perfectly. Lighting was also an element that I felt was important in the overall design. The lighting arrangements hung above the table were all custom designed by my go-to lighting company here in OKC. I told them what I envisioned, and they delivered! A lot of the details were custom made and crafted by myself and my team. I wanted to show brides that they can think outside the box, and still have a chic design!
