Organic Fall Inspiration with This Massive Geometric Floral Installation
Organic loving brides – this one is for you! Zenobia from Blue Olive Events designed a modern, nature-loving styled shoot with natural woods and a gorgeous mix of textures. Using dried leaves straight from the venue’s ground, this styled shoot is speaking our language! With soft blues and greys throughout, and even incorporating the dried leaves in the bridal bouquet, these photos by Clareece Smit Photography are dreamy from start to finish. Oh, and don’t even get us started on the stunning massive geometric floral installation. Just, wow.
From the coordinator, Zenobia Davids from Blue Olive Events: The inspiration behind the shoot is all about the African winter. You see a lot of shoots in winter with snow. Well in Africa (most countries) doesn’t get any snow, it’s like a once in 30-year occurrence. Therefore I decided to do a winter shoot that shows the difference in season between North and Southern Hemispheres.
What made it more special, is that the shoot took place at the beginning of winter. We didn’t have to look far for the dried out leaves and Ground the Venue had plenty of leaves laying around and thankfully they hadn’t swept it up yet.
We chose Ground as their venue is perfectly situated in the countryside, has the best view possible and worked well with the overall theme of the shoot. Ground is pretty much a blank canvas and has minimal decor that can be used to accentuate your look.
This look can also be used in any setting or season. As the color palette is neutral and more colour schemes can be added to make it fit in with the couple’s overall look and feel. For example, a spring/summer wedding you can add some bright colors to the flowers or switch up the napkins to fit the look.
So that massive geometric floral installation, amazing, right? We love all the natural details that so perfectly flowed together so if you are still figuring out your wedding style, we created an easy guide for you to follow!
