We are utterly swept away with today’s styled shoot from Brilliant Wedding Co and The Bloemist, which brings the California coast to life through a blend of deep, moody hues and crystalline accents that mimic the ocean itself. Brittany of Blue Rose Pictures engages all five senses in this dreamy rhapsody in blue. Maybe we’re just holding on to summer, but we can quite literally feel the ocean breeze with this one! It’s hard to pick a favorite element of this shoot, but the delicate sea glass etched to perfection by Feather and Ivy is definitely a contender. From the photographer, Brittany of Blue Rose Pictures: This shoot is all about that bohemian California beach bride. She is free and natural and beautiful in her own way. She is at home on the beach and with the waves and birds all around her. She incorporates natural colors and crystals into her wedding day decor. With hand dyed silk table runners and spun fiberglass mid century design chairs, this style is California cool.
The gorgeous Odelyne the ceremony gown was borrowed from Soltice Bride located in Venice on the hip Abbot Kinney Blvd. The natural quartz combs in her hair are all the way from The Netherlands from Naturae designs. Beach glass escort cards with white calligraphy add to the coastal design. The cake details are just so perfect! We wanted to bring out the features and colors of the California Coast but keep it simple and elegant and not over styled.
