Lush California Garden Wedding

What a gorgeous sight this wedding shot by Megan Sorel Photography was on this Thursday. A day before the official start of the weekend, this beautiful garden wedding is giving us some serious inspiration. With elegant blooms by The Hidden Garden, Jillian and Chris’s San Ysidro Ranch fête hosted breathtaking scenery all over, from those brilliant views of the mountains to the natural-toned colors the couple picked for their decor.

From the wedding planner, Alexandra Kolendrianos: Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Jillian and Chris were married in an intimate ceremony in the lush gardens of San Ysidro Ranch with views of the Santa Barbara Mountains. They wanted a romantic, elegant, garden-style wedding that complemented the location. Natural tones in whites, greens, and creams were the colors of choice for the floral and decor. Wood bases set the foundation and accents of golds gave it that upscale feel. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony on one of the beautiful lawns of the gardens. Lounge furniture vignettes filled the space adorned with beautiful and romantic floral. An oversized plank wood board was the backdrop that held the hand calligraphied escort cards – definitely a conversation piece.

Guests made their way to dinner to the Stonehouse restaurant and dined alfresco. A Spanish guitar duo played in the background. Long wood feasting tables filled the outdoor space adorned with vintage lace runners and a romantic and eclectic grouping of candles and floral. Beautiful gold rim chargers, vintage glassware and gold flatware took center stage at each place setting. Heartfelt speeches took place as guests dined. Once the dinner came to an end, guests were invited to the Hydrangea Cottage for dancing, lounging and decadent desserts!
