Love Full Bloom Wedding Inspiration
We double dog dare you not to fall madly in love with this editorial shoot from vendors Karlee K. Photography, Tremaine Ranch, and Garden Gate Flowers AZ. The flower recipe called for a copious amount of blooms in deep reds, soft pinks and light creams with greenery entangled throughout. From the paint speckled paper goods to the caramelized dessert bar, this styled shoot seems too good to be true! And did you catch both the exposed brick and whimsically textured backdrops? Simply marvelous.
From the rentals company, Tremaine Ranch: We know that there are styled shoots all over the internet now, which makes for the creative inside all of the wedding & industry folks feel extremely inspired. It is amazing to see all different vendors work together on creating something truly one of a kind and show just what type of finished product comes through! When trying to come up with a unique concept; something that hasn’t been done before, it’s hard to find inspiration. This is where Leah Theodosis, with Tremaine Ranch, decides that listening to music can really come into play! Our inspiration from this shoot came from the song ‘Could We’ by Cat Power. Once we heard this song, we really focused on the lyrics that say: “What a dream, in the grass, We kissed, fell in love too fast, too soon, Love full bloom”. Knowing that we needed to bring to life this imagery of falling in love fast and feeling love fully bloom with two individuals, we began the process of creating our scene for a beautiful and intimate wedding day between our couple.
The rich colors of romantic, fall blooms helped bring the imagery you feel while listening to the song to life. Andrea Mckay with Garden Gate Flowers AZ, brought our rich color palette alive by using deep red florals and incorporating ivy to be growing and planting its roots in something stable. We thought this was a great take on using foliage to create a deeper emotion. As ivy vine grows, it sets roots into the soil deeply and densely, and creates a network of roots which binds the soil, helping to prevent erosion and slippage on slopes. Ivy has the ability to climb almost any vertical surface, clinging by means of aerial roots. Once established, Ivy plants will rapidly cover any wall or fence with lush evergreen foliage. With using the ivy to connect our florals to our structural pieces, we see the emotion of growing a stable and healthy relationship. Focusing on the very fun, but still very soft and romantic tones to the song, we see our fall setting come to life.
We used Soho63 as our venue of choice. This space is a hip and historic wedding and event venue in Downtown Chandler, Arizona. Featuring an exquisite terrace modeled after a New York City rooftop, SoHo63 is a beautifully appointed venue with a warm and modern vibe. We knew this setting was the perfect location for our young, modern and hip couple. Arizona is best known for its deserts, but we wanted to showcase the other cool spaces that are a part of Arizona’s history as well.
