Junkyard Engagement Session
March 10
This adorable junkyard engagement session landed in my inbox a few days ago then yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely ladies April and Lindsey from Sweet Monday Photography. They were telling me that bride’s cousin owns this junkyard/old car shop since he’s an artist and uses scrap metal for sculptures but some of these vintage cars are just too sweet to be upcycled! The junkyard location has also been used for concerts before. Ah, stylish and hip Los Angeles, how I miss thee.
Thanks so much Lindsey and April for sending over these images! You can see more on their blog here.
Loving this shoot! I love the outfits and old cars, very cool and unique!

Anybody want to volunteer an answer to my question: where did she get that blue dress?
Hi ladies, So glad you are enjoying the photos! Thanks, Amanda, for sharing them…we had so much fun chatting w/ you in person in Vegas! We had the same question for Ingrid about those amazing blue T-straps…they are a UK brand called Office & you can buy them here: https://www.office.co.uk/womens/office/lucky_button/37/6036/16326/1?fs=6036 Enjoy! Anastastia – The grey dress is Betsey Johnson – Isn’t it great?
It’s more than great!!! Thanks for the quick reply!
That grey dress is to-die-for, not to mention the rest of her wardrobe. Love how his sweater is coordinated!
must have grey dress and blue shoes. now.
I absolutely need that grey dress! It’s beautiful. Someone mentioned that it’s a betsey johnson. I’ve looked everywhere for it. Any ideas where I can find it???
Hi April, I’m the girl in the pictures. I saw you were trying to find the Betsey Johnson dress, unfortunately it’s about 2 years old and I was saving it for a special occasion. I love it too! Although you might not be able to find this dress, Betsey has a few from her new collection that have a similar look. Best of luck!
Cool location and photography.
Cheers
Mark.
