The moon and stars have aligned because this intimate garden wedding at The Mount is absolute perfection! We stopped dead in our tracks when we first laid eyes on the breathtaking reception setup designed and planned by Samantha Joy Events. We cannot help but fall in love with the canopy of flowers and greenery in rich jewel tones over a long wooden table with cozy blankets for the guests. Megan Noll Photography was genius behind the lens capturing every tender moment and gorgeous detail that is now overflowing on our Pinterest boards!
From the planner, Samantha Joy Events: This outdoor renaissance wedding set in the rich landscaped gardens of an east coast estate. We used a blend of rich burgundy, mauve, and purples, balanced with golds, greenery, to create a light and timeless experience. The bride made the long walk from the house to meet her dad in the historic lime walk before getting married in front of the fountain of the floral garden.
On her wedding day, Kylie took the long walk from the house down the lime walk where she met her father before meeting Andrew in front of the fountain in the flower garden to get married. Cocktails were held in the living room of the home and the outdoor veranda. Guests enjoyed a string duo for the ceremony and cocktails and for dinner we jazzed it up with another musician. If you are looking for a great way to have live musicians but different sounds throughout the evening we recommend looking for groups that can play multiple instruments or that can add different musicians throughout the night. It makes for great live entertainment.
For dinner, guests headed back to the raised lawn where we had designed a 16-foot long table that sat under a canopy of flowers and chandeliers created by Daisy Stone Studios and Rob Alberti Event Services. While being serenaded everyone enjoyed a 3-course fondue meal inspired by their first date and favorite restaurant: The Melting Pot.
Using handcrafted techniques of bookmaking and custom artwork, guests were invited to the nuptials with a completely customized, boxed folio invitation. Each set of parents received a separate invite to a private dinner before the wedding. The invited was designed as a keepsake and each guest was given a few pictures to insert where the invitation was to display in their home.
A weekend filled with special touches and moments. Kylie wore her mother’s veil and pearl earrings. Andrew wore the pocket watch that was gifted to him by Kylie. She also had the lining of his custom suit embroidered with a special message.
