Intimate Lake Tahoe Wedding

Not that we need one more reason to fall in love with lake weddings, but this Lake Tahoe fête from Heidi Huber definitely reminds us why we crush so hard on them. Bride Christy is a former event planner, and it shows through all of her thoughtful touches for the ceremony and reception. One of our favorite details? Bags full of goodies for all the children!

I had a lot of fun incorporating their personalities into the wedding! Christy was an event planner at local resort in Incline Village and was thoroughly striving to create her own personality into the details of her wedding at a brand new Tahoe venue, The Tahoe Tree Company. Her rustic and vintage details blended with the nursery so impeccably perfectly; Christy had spend months designing the details from the centerpieces of milk vases and wild flowers to the invitations and direction signage to the ceremony and reception. She had the idea of milk vases to hold the flowers, which florist, Holly Fleur, ran with, incorporating different wild flowers and centerpieces to reflect on the guests sitting at each table. Not one centerpiece was the same!

Christy has a very fun, playful and detailed personality and this is seen everywhere with the vibrant summer flowers from the bouquets to the colors on her bridesmaid dresses to the flowers in the bridesmaids’ hair to punches of color throughout the reception. We were striving for an overall casually vintage with a natural, warm inviting feel.

Christy framed several photographs from her parents’ and Mike’s parents’ weddings to complement the photographs taken by Heidi Huber Photography during the engagement session. The ceremony details were exquisite with the framed photographs, the flowers by Holly Fleur and the vintage wooden card box and lemonade with striped straws.
