Houston Station Wedding
You might say I have a little obsession with all things Nashville myself, so when I saw the wedding of newlyweds Jessie and Austin sent over by Jessie Holloway Photography, I did a little dance. Houston Station was the perfect setting for the couple’s reception, with its warm atmosphere and easy styling. And don’t miss the cake from The Bake Shoppe, a perfectly ruffled confection!
From the bride, Jessie: We love all things Nashville, vintage, and are passionate about music. We wanted a slightly less formal event that showcased our personalities and made everyone feel at home. We wanted to spend the entire day surrounded by people we love and making great memories.
Our floral/event designer best described our theme as “a little bit southern, and a little bit rock and roll.” We used soft peaches and pinks mixed with a “mason jar” blue to keep with the vintage southern theme. My grandmother and great aunt made homemade jams for the biscuit bar and then also to handout to guests as favors.
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Hire a planner! It was the best decision I made. I would also suggest that brides stay true to themselves and incorporate their personality into the wedding. After all, it is your day.

love the style of the photo shooting, the bride’s dress and the diy decors
so romantic
Love the styling it’s really beautiful. Excellent photographs.
I love this tea length gown! Is it the Casablanca 1900 converted into tea length by chance?
Lovely. I especially love the cake, the centerpieces, and the Edison lights. That dress is so unique as well, and the shoes go with it perfectly!
