Hand Painted Wedding Inspiration
How could we not fall in love with this incredible shoot from Nicole Berrett Photography and Stems of Dallas? Pinks, yellows, greens — our absolute favorite colors, all looking their best. The hand painted tablecloth by Marcy Cook Art absolutely steals the scene and turns the reception table into an all-out show-stopper.
From the photographer, Nicole Berrett: Inspired by the colorful hues of Marcy Cook’s handpainted cloth, together photographer Nicole Berrett and the floral designers of Stems of Dallas created an artistic piece surrounding a linen on a table. The idea was to create something erring on the side of simplicity while incorporating unique creativity.
Everything surrounding the cloth was of pristine, natural hues — from the walls of The White Sparrow Barn to the clean lines used in the elements upon the table. Clear glass encased mid-century gold taper candles were placed atop lucite stands, while dinner plates were set across a light marble stone with metallic gold detailing. A lush floral arrangement swept the center of the table creating an organic feel with pops of elegant, neutral florals.
The team created this intimate gathering set for a bride and her groom who have just made the promise of sharing a life together. The bride wears a gown of simple, understated beauty. Her hair, a touch of formal while subdued with natural and loose textures, compliments the neutral colors used in the make up on her face. Rayven of Beauty and the Blush Artistry created this effortless, yet breathtaking, look for the bride.
