Green Thumb Wedding at Terrain
If you’ve got a green thumb and love to garden, I think we’ve found the perfect wedding for you. Jessica Cooper Photography and Sebesta Design put together this stylish wedding shoot inspired by lots of natural textures and a warm color palette of gold, copper, orange, and yellow. Stay tuned, because we’ve got a great DIY tutorial from the team coming later today!
From the photographer Jessica Cooper Photography and the designer Sebesta Design: Inspired by theme “Rooted In Love” and the ultra organic look of hanging root balls we worked with hearty textures like wood, grapevine and leather to give the shoot a grounded natural feel, but wanted to bring in lots of lush textures in both the blossoms and foliage so that it didn’t loose its romantic edge. This late Summer, early Fall sunset color palette of gold, copper, terra cotta and dusty blue allowed us to play with so many great blossoms.
Double petal garden roses played off of the flittering buds on the northern sea oats, while long spikes of dusty blue delphinium laid side by side with lush and low velvety clusters of the raspberry coxcomb. The entire inspiration was brought to life at Terrain at their Garden Shed & Greenhouse. The rough cut wooden planks and walls gave us the perfect backdrop for everything from our hanging grapevine ball arrangements, to our specialty drink display.
