Glamorous Monochromatic Wedding at Hummingbird’s Nest Ranch

Describe the moment when Martin proposed.
From the bride: The proposal was a complete surprise to me. We had decided to spend Christmas in Whistler, Canada with our very close friends. On December 24th, Christmas Eve, we woke up and decided that we wanted to sight see in the village and go to the highest point on the mountain to take in the view. After lunch, we took a 20 minute gondola ride all the way up the Blackcomb Mountain and got to the highest peak. At the top of the mountain near the edge, there was a glasses sightseeing deck. Is was one of the most breathtaking views we had ever seen. It literally looked and felt like we were standing in heaven looking down below us at the snow covered mountains, and the clouds below us (we were that high up). As we stood next to each other looking out at the most stunning view, Martin put his arm around me and asked if he could as me a question. The next thing I knew he was on one knee on the ice cold snow holding out a box with the most stunning ring I had ever seen and asking me to marry him. I was in such shock and surprise that I could not speak for a few moments. I was finally able to get the word yes out, and huge and kissed the man of my dreams (along with a lot of happy tears). We turned to see the entire crowd cheering us on. It truly was the most perfect moment.
Fun facts about yourselves:
1. We met on Bumble (yes, it actually does work)! We are a success story! He was the first and only person I had ever swiped on in any dating platform.
2. Two minutes after meeting we realized we had very close fiends in common, even when we had been living at opposite parts of the country (it real is a small world).
3. As two lawyers, we had worked on the same street for nearly 5 years and had never ran into one another or met.
What are your recommendations for couples before and during their wedding?
Our recommendations for couples would be to listen to your photographer and take their direction. You may think you know what looks right or good but your really don’t. If you want amazing photos, just listen and follow their directions.
