Swan House Spring Wedding Inspiration
Never in my life have I come across a shoot more utterly romantic than today’s feature from Simply Sarah Photography and Elleson Events. Featuring not one but two stunning gowns (one of which boasts a beautiful icy blue skirt), a venue that’s nothing short of breathtaking, and a wedding table we can’t help but love, we know you won’t be able to resist the photo shoot’s beauty either.
From the photographer, Simply Sarah Photography: Inspired by the rich history, beautiful detailing and expert craftsmanship of The Swan Coach House in Atlanta, Georgia, Hollie with Elleson Events took our vision along with our sweet couple Amanda and Ryan and turned it into something truly beautiful. Today, we’re taking you to The historic Swan House mansion with natural wedding inspiration, organic details and a perfect Alexandra Grecco wedding gown with floral detailing flown all the way in from the Bozeman, Montana. We chose a neutral color palette infused with soft pops of rose quartz and serenity, the pantone colors of the year. These delicate details paired perfectly with the stunning architecture of The Swan House and allowed the sweet love shared between these two to really shine!
Amanda and Ryan’s love story & proposal from Amanda: Ryan and I were introduced through mutual friends while out at Tin Lizzy’s one random summer evening in August of 2012. I was easily influenced to accompany my girlfriend who was interested in one of Ryan’s friends. Who knew Ryan and I would actually be the ones getting married 4 ½ years later! Ryan’s Midwestern charm sealed the deal, but if you ask him he will tell you it was his dance moves. Either way, our infectious laughter, shared ability to reach things on high shelves, and love of fitness paved the way for beautiful romance filled with love and adventure.
Ryan proposed the morning of Saturday, November 28th 2015. We have a Saturday morning routine of walking to our local bakery for breakfast and coffee. Since it was the Thanksgiving holiday and his family was in town, we had made alternative plans. But unknowingly, Ryan had a plan and surprised me with my usual choice of breakfast in bed. As I started unwrapping my breakfast, Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes and can’t wait to marry the man of my dreams!
Those shoes are too cute:D
