Stormy Day Plane Hangar Wedding
When you’ve got more than enough love to go around, a rainy wedding day can’t put a damper on your spirits. Lisa and Brad exchanged vows at the bride’s father’s airplane hangar, which was the perfect unique touch for this couple — even on the stormiest of days. Sarah Tamagni Photography, We Do Designs, and Lisa’s Flor Decor also put their marks on the day, taking care of the images, design, and flowers respectively!
From the photographer, Sarah of Sarah Tamagni Photography: Lisa and Brad wanted to be married out at her father’s plane hangar, a place she loves and has been a big part of her life. It was a stormy October day surrounded by close family and friends. There were so many details at this charming cropduster’s daughter’s wedding. The aisle was lined with layers of pampas grass plugged into huge wooden stumps with garden roses and Rice stock. The ceremony backdrop was a garland of pampas grass and rice stock hanging from fabric strategically placed out on the airstrip. Flanked by Gray and white striped pillars holding gorgeous flowers in shades of yellow.
Hand made vintage style wooden planes landed on the reserve tables along with shades of yellow flowers in vintage silver pieces. A photo backdrop was decoupaged with aerial photos of surrounding landscapes taken by the father of the bride. As a focal point a handmade propeller was highlighted with the names of the bride and groom. A small world globe was made of fresh flowers displaying a paper plane and banner. At the sign in table a custom propeller vase was a perfect way to display all of the gorgeous flowers at this wedding along with a 4 by 8 sign hand painted in bold stripes bringing out the lyrics to FLY me to the moon!
