Romantic Vintage Inspired Wedding in Maryland
When the bride has a certain love for collected vintage treasures and heirlooms, it’s a solid bet they’ll make their way into the wedding day. Jessica Maskell Events and All Seasons Florist included bride Kevan’s collection into the decor and floral elements in a way that’s both classic and whimsical, for a look we just can’t resist. Every detail in this wedding is made all the more beautiful by the talent of photographer Elizabeth Fogarty!
From the photographer, Elizabeth Fogarty: Kevan and Michael had a beautiful vintage wedding at Rockland Estates. A love for Kevan’s collected treasures and heirlooms were a base for the wedding design and everything else just played off of those key elements. The bride’s romantic tulle gown and the groom’s relaxed trendy suit were the perfect mix to balance each other out to create a classic and vintage vibe. An intimate affair of fifty of their closest family and friends watched Kevan and Mike walk down the aisle to a whimsical backdrop. Beautiful vintage lace curtains draped the ceremony backdrop.
Angela from Rusty Love Vintage Rentals took care of the smallest details, from the cream chippy dresser used for programs to the Moroccan dessert buffet. She used a mix of vintage treasures for flowers to accent the dessert table. Non-traditional items, like old silver cream & sugar sets are perfect for adding small touches when mixed with a contrast of white porcelain vases, medicine bottles, flowers and candlelight. Kevan collected mismatched china and linens for her tables. The bride handmade pink flowing table runners and the groom made rustic flower boxes for all the arrangements. The sweetheart table was very prairie chic. Vintage mismatched lace linens were layered and the table was set with the bride’s grandmother’s pink champagne glasses. A taco buffet and a VW bus groom’s cake were on the menu to add in that twist of relaxed California vibe. Their love for VW’s sent the couple off into the night in the coolest black vintage VW bus.
