Romantic Maine Wedding with Glitzy Details
After seeing this beautiful wedding from Emily Delamater and Sweetest Thing Weddings, I’m convinced Maine just has to be my next destination spot — just take a look at these striking landscapes! Jaclyn and Kaleb’s wedding had some glitz and glamour, but they kept the day stocked with entertainment and games to ensure their guests would remember all the fun for years to come.
From the bride, Jaclyn: Style and feel? Well, I think I must have changed my mind a thousand times. I wanted it to be fun, to be entertaining, and to be unique everywhere you look. This is where the “game” theme came in. We started by using Mad Libs for the RSVPs, and during the cocktail hour we had activities such as corn hole and giant Jenga. During the dinner each person was given another set of Mad Libs cards at their seats to fill out as well, and after dinner there was of course dancing, but we added a Photo Booth for fun :).
I was told by everyone that the wedding felt warm, and that everyone and everything gave off a welcoming vibe. Draping lights from the ceiling and having as many candles on the tables as possible definitely helped with the warmth. The colors I tried to stick to were blush and grey, and my amazing talented bridesmaids DIYed the chalkboards that we used for signage.
Wedding Music:
Processional: “With You,” Sum 41

I LOVE these photos – outstanding work all around! And that cake is so so cool!
