Maui Wedding Filled with Tropical Florals & Fresh Coconuts

This romantic outdoor wedding in Maui is filled with thoughtful details, oversized blooms and lots of fresh coconuts! Amanda & Kyle knew they wanted to return to Hawaii for their wedding as it’s where they fell in love. Cue: the “awww” moment. Maui’s Angels truly lived up to their angelic name by designing a tropical paradise at Olowalu Plantation House that celebrates the natural beauty of Hawaii. With every passing photo from Dmitri & Sandra Photography, we are falling more and more in love Maui!

From the photographer, Dmitri & Sandra PhotographyThis bride and groom have a classic Hawaii love story we don’t get tired of hearing. Surfer girl meets Army boy followed by sunsets, hikes and motorcycle rides discovering the beautiful Island of Oahu. After being restationed to the East Coast, Amanda and Kyle knew they would someday return to Hawaii for their wedding.

They chose the historical Olowalu Plantation House for their tropical soirée. The tranquil ceremony lawn is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and ocean backdrop.  The beautiful ceremony was followed by cocktail hour, complete with a surfboard guestbook, fresh coconuts and local Hawaiian appetizers. Transitioning to dinner on the spacious lanai, champagne escort cards brought the guests to their tables named after a Hawaiian Island. Keeping with the theme, a Hawaiian Luau buffet was served! Their friends and family were truly shown the beauty of Hawaii that they will never forget.

From the bride: We wanted our close family and friends to experience all that Hawai’i has to offer: Scenic views, good food and great tunes. We also wanted our guests to have an appreciation for the islands like we do and share the moment with us without having to tread through sand. We hope that guests walked away with a once in a lifetime experience.
