Romantic Blush Winery Wedding
Pink and gold with lots of natural greenery will always be obsess-worthy for me. This shoot from Milou + Olin Photography, Eighteenth Avenue Events, and LC Floral takes this classic combination and makes it just as inspiring as ever, adding delicate ruched details in some places and daring bejeweled elements in others. Make sure you check out the delicious selection of cakes and desserts!
From the event designers, Eighteenth Avenue Events: Nestled in the heart of the Livermore wine country, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, Concannon Winery is the perfect setting for a romantic, whimsical wedding. With the vineyards in harvest season, the grapes really give the property and extra special touch. Planted over 30 years ago, the grape arbor is a landmark of this property. Its entwined vines, trellised in an arch features clusters of hanging grapes of different varieties and beautifully accentuates the charm of the surrounding area. Normally seating up to 150 guests, we opted for a more intimate gathering, focusing on the detail of each guest’s place setting, favor and desserts.
Inspired by this year’s trends of rose gold and blush pinks, we created a tablescape to swoon over. Everything from the sheer La Tavola Linen to the exquisite farm tables and place settings featuring rose gold chargers, flatware and interesting geometric hurricane lanterns were used. Ivory lace dinner plates, blush goblets and salad plates set the overall romantic tone. Wooden menu signage is hand brushed with rose gold and our “Let Love Grow” signage points the way to the guest’s herb seed packet favors, all by Sweet + Crafty. The cascading floral table runner is a wow factor for any occasion especially paired with our other floral accents from LC Floral including our bride and groom’s chair detail, floral headpiece and ring and beautifully whimsical oversized bouquet.
We chose to do a decadent dessert bar from Ma Petite Maison Cakes which included a his and hers cake along with a variety of the couple’s favorite desserts such as pyramid shaped chocolates, “naked” mini cakes and donuts. Our pink glazed donuts also set on the place settings acted as the guest’s place cards with hand written names on each, written by Sweet + Crafty. The bride’s gown, a vintage feeling La Soie Bridal collection gown featured intricate lace detailing and satin covered buttons on it’s back and exquisite lace appliques cascading down a flowing tulle skirt. Other accessories, including Badgley Mischka blush pink shoes, Kate Spade bangle and Kendra Scott ring and earrings, all stay within the tone of the wedding while adding just the right amount of sparkle to complement the bride’s over all look. Her natural “rosy” makeup and romantic side swept hair style tie it all together.
The Mrs. Box heirloom collection ring box beautifully accentuates the brides teardrop diamond set in rose gold. Our blush watercolor invitations and other paper goods are unique and set the perfect tone of the intimate feel for the event. Our lounge area featured vintage furniture highlighted by rose gold geometric hurricane lanterns, candles and the absolutely perfect lighting that this venue has to offer. The wonderful Caroline Winata from Milou + Olin Photography beautifully captured the entire event and helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
