Old World Southern Charm Elopement Inspiration
Maybe it’s the riveting feeling of escape from a quotidian world or maybe it’s the rich history that each cobblestone and brick exudes, but we’d be lost in a world without Savannah. In today’s styled shoot, Vitor Lindo captures the elegant tranquility of a city that boasts enough love stories to fill our history books. To give this elopement a European twist, Tristan Needham and Colonial House of Flowers combined buttercream blooms, rich hand lettering and a delicate china pattern that puts a twinkle in our eyes. The soft neutral palette of the tablescape is the perfect complement for the distinctive architecture in the background, and the lace detail trailing the bride’s gown is enchanting to say the least. Prepare to be mesmerized as you step into the wonderful world of Savannah.
From the photographer, Vitor Lindo: Savannah’s southern charm can sometimes be well, a bit too southern. In this styled shoot we aimed to create something more upscale and European. Something one would find in any old city in the world. The Harper Fowlkes House was this perfect venue. It exuded the “old world” feel in and gave this styled shoot a ‘je ne sais quoi’ and allowed us to shot Savannah in a different light.
This shoot featured romantic and timeless details to inspire a creative bride. The sugar flowers are handmade with care and symbolize the fleeting nature of our lives. The vow book allow a bride and groom to concentrate on each other before the wedding. Putting all their love thought into one promise, one moment which will unite them forever.
I love this theme of the old world/rustic style wedding! One of my favorite spots for weddings is the Spanish Monastery. It’s such a unique location as well as the perfect spot for vintage, old world charm weddings!
