Bohemian Santa Fe Wedding

Bohemian Santa Fe Wedding

Today’s wedding by Bash, Please, captured by Joni Bilderback, is full of so much intimacy and sweetness that it’s hard to know where to begin. Take special note of bride Devin’s Free People lace wedding dress, and the wood incense given to guests in screen-printed muslin pouches!

From Paige and Kelly of Bash, Please: Devin and Brock live on an intentional community outside of Taos called LAMA. They had all their community friends from LAMA gather for a picnic at the church to give blessings before service. They had a noon time mass with their dear friend who is a priest. Brock’s sister Paige was the best woman and Devin’s brother Ross was the man of honor. It was an intimate ceremony of about 40 people followed by dinner in the private dining room at the St. Francis Hotel in Santa Fe.

They are a truly unique, bohemian couple who wanted to encapsulate the New Mexico state in their wedding decor. All pottery was sourced locally for the florals and cacti, and used raw linen napkins that we dip-dyed in an sunset color. They chose to give Palo Santo “holy stick” incense in muslin pouches that we screenprinted an illustrated agave plant onto. Devin wore a dress by Free People and they had an organic Mexican vanilla wedding cake. All the guests sipped mezcal cocktails and dined on short ribs. They danced the night away to their friends music.

For this wedding, we dip dyed linen napkins, sourced all local pottery for the table florals/cactus, we created all the wild Georgia O’keefe inspired florals with foraged wildflowers and greenery, and custom illustrated the agave plant that we screenprinted on favor bags filled with Palo Santo. The guest book was quilt squares that Devin the bride is going to make into a quilt of love notes.
