Bohemian Hawaiian Wedding
Some how-you-met stories we only hear in the movies. Or so you would think if I told you the bride and groom from this gorgeous destination wedding were neighbors. Living in Portland, Tani lived right next door to Daniel. They decided to have an intimate wedding in Honolulu partly because Tani’s family is from there, partly because Daniel’s family was small. Everything was DIYed by them, and set up with the help of Tani’s family – including the flowers! So they booked Ashley Camper to capture their Hawaii wedding at the The Bayer Estate. Tani’s vintage Valentino and her cap veil crowned by a rhinestone halo is probably our favorite bridal look to date!
From the groom, Dan: We did most of the planning and decorations ourselves — very much a DIY wedding. We wanted a “Midsummer Night’s Dream”/enchanted forest meets Victorian theme for the wedding. It was pretty hard to achieve that here on Oahu, so we imported most of the decor from Portland, OR.
