Black and Gold New Year’s Eve

If there’s anything New Year’s Eve has become synonymous with over the years, it’s one heck of a party. This shoot, photographed by Nancy Ebert and dressed to the nines by OhSoPretty Party Boutique, is just that – a clean and modern wedding inspiration session with heaps of glitter, confetti, and balloons. 2014 here we come!

From the photographer, Nancy Ebert: I teamed up with some of my favorite wedding vendors from Germany to create a “black & gold” themed styled shoot. The idea behind it was to create a clean and elegant look for a modern couple in a more industrial-like setting. The shooting was in late November with New Year’s Eve 2014 just around the corner, so we included a little celebration in it and just had tons of fun.

From the idea to the actual photoshoot it took us no more than two weeks – including our search for models. We were looking for a non-professional but deeply-in-love-couple. So we called for all followers of my facebook page to send in applications. The only requirement for applicants was to have a total crush on each other and some spare time on the date of the planned shoot. Within the same day we had about 50 applications from so many wonderful people. We actually received so many beautiful applications that it was hard to pick just one couple. But I believe with Corinna and Dennis we chose the perfect couple. They were on fire and did an awesome job without any modeling experience whatsoever. So in the end we had just a blast and let the good times roll.
