Adding geodes and quartz to wedding tablescapes and other decor elements are a hot wedding trend right now, and we love how the white quartz is perched as a cake topper. Our eyes are loving those tulips, but we’re so smitten over the foliage and the greenery, especially as they snake out in the terrariums. Such a fun concept!
From the event designer, Cedarwood Weddings: Our Alchemy wedding inspiration uses natural elements like quartz crystals, minerals, and light to elevate event design to an ethereal expression of love. Styling is subtle, a delicate balance of earth and fire. Hues of pale green and mint floral and décor – including hand blown glass terrariums encasing mysteriously exotic air plants – are elegantly natural. Candlelight warms and reflects the neutral reception setting, as sunlight illuminates our gorgeous bride’s golden hour photo session with Julie Paisley.
Vellum invitations and paper goods continue the touch of lightness in design. Elements are carefully curated to represent the connection between heaven and earth, including rock candy decorated cocktails and cake, and an altar of branches grounding a suspended installation of candles and air plants. Guests participate in the mystery with unopened crystal geode favors. Carol Hannah’s AZURITE gown, which “celebrates feminine strength and mystery”, is stunning both in the color and luxurious use of fine flowing fabrics that gracefully drape our bride as she frolics in the estate meadow. Carol Hannah’s Dew Headpiece is a fine embellishment of glass beading and brass wire that is flexible enough to use in any hairstyle.
