A Modern New Year’s Celebration
If ever there were two perfect pairs, it would be modern styling and New Year’s Eve. Izzy Hudgins Photography and French Knot Studios recently put together this elegant styled shoot (with a punch of fun, of course) that uses blush pinks, black, white, and metallic sheen to create something truly special. Happy 2015, all!
From the event designer, Audrey of French Knot Studios: Gold glitter is synonymous with New Year’s Eve, so instead of the razzle dazzle, we went with more of a metallic sheen. The Brice Hotel in Savannah, Georgia has a fabulous secret garden already strung with market lights, for the perfect ceremony setting. East Taylor Creative made a fringed herringbone backdrop. Pale blush pink, black, and lots of necklaces make for a classic look on our bride and bridesmaid.
Set in the private dining room of a local eatery, the wood paneled walls added warmth and texture to our reception. We bedecked the chandeliers with tissue tassels and “Pop, Fizz, Cheers” banners from The Bannerie. Italian flatbreads, homemade sauces and jams, fresh bread, meats, and cheeses were delicious options for guests to grab and mingle. A Squad Bakeshop made the cutest champagne snack cakes which we adorned with laser cut picks from Nic. Roc. Designs.
