French Woods Wedding Inspiration

Just when we think French weddings couldn’t get any more beautiful, this dreamy inspiration in Île-de-France happens. Styled and designed by Fabienne of Love sur la Comète, flowers from Osmose Création, and images by Trentième Étage are all just part of what makes this French inspiration shoot so incredibly gorgeous. Let’s delve right in, shall we?

From the event designer, Fabienne of Love sur la Comète: In France, most weddings are in summer whereas all seasons are really beautiful and usable for weddings. I love fall with all its beautiful colors and magical trees, so I really wanted to show a wedding in that gorgeous season. When I think about fall, I see warm colors like orange, red, yellow; I can hear music just like the falling of a leaf from a tree and the landing from a delicious wind… So, the inspiration behind the shoot was to share a wedding in harmony with the fall in the woodlands, just like a beautiful walk all-around it.

I wanted to show a couple that loved nature and that could have a wedding that could be a simple friendly and charming moment enjoying the sound and the beauty of fall by choosing fall’s colors to say “I do.” I wanted the decor to be simple and fine to let the beauty of the woods shine through. A lake with ducks, pieces of log as sweeties support, a delicate wedding dress, leaves all around the land, a calm atmosphere, a fine rain, that was perfect for enjoying a fall wedding just like a precious moment to share with that beautiful season.

I just have to add that it was really hard to shoot this inspiration because on that day, the rain just would not stop! It was raining all day! We just had a few minutes to arrange everything outside (and obviously, everything was soaked), so we didn’t do every picture we wanted to do outside, but it was still truly a beautiful time.
