Fourth of July Inspiration
Photographer Shannon Mathis and Krysten Jaume of Mi Amore Foto, put together a styled shoot that celebrates American style in the chicest of manners. On a hot summer afternoon that July 4th always is, this shoot is just that. Pure Americana inspiration. With gorgeous goggles on to capture such femininity in the most beautiful way.
From the photographer, Shannon Mathis of Mi Amore Foto: This shoot was photographed at my Grandfather’s cabin in Nashville Georgia. The cabin was built in the 1800s and is just a beauty! Some of the vendors, along with myself, are based out of Tallahassee, Florida. We wanted to do a 4th of July/All American styled shoot, without it being over the top themed. I am one lucky gal because I got some amazing pieces from some very talented people.
This is a very special and dear shoot to me as my good friend Krysten Jaume and I are the ones that put everything together, style wise, and designed the whole shoot. I had never taken anything like this on before and while it was stressful, it was so rewarding in the end. The napkins, charger plates, goblets, some of the lingerie, etc. were from a local thrift store. The plates were Krysten’s. The table and chairs were mine. I just love the way it came together and as someone planning my own wedding, it’s so nice to see that you can use old elements to make it completely your own. You don’t have to go out and buy all new, expensive things. Ask Grandma or aunts if they have some beautiful old linens or dinnerware laying around. It is beautiful as well as special.

Hi Nikki, the dress was from the Etsy seller https://www.etsy.com/shop/upoppy?ref=pr_shop_more
You might want to write her and see if that dress is still available. She might have taken it off because it was being used for a shoot. I hope this helps!
Gorgeous shoot! What a feminine take on an All American shoot. I need those Shannon Kirsten Invites! So pretty!
