Flowerchild Wedding Inspiration

North Carolina photographers Sassyfras Studios sent this inspiration shoot our way, and we knew within seconds we needed to share it with you all. This is bohemian and vintage styling to perfection, featuring a real-life newlywed couple with a serious penchant for traveling. Get ready for some ultimate hippie chich inspiration:

From the photographers, Sassyfras Studios: Sassyfras Studios bring you a inspiration shoot based on the idea of wanderlust, mother nature and all things boho. This session was for our recent workshop. Courtney and Nathaniel are newlyweds. Not only did Courtney play the tambourine as she came back down the aisle (at her wedding), but they also have a love and passion for travel and adventure. Nathaniel grew up in West Africa, and they are moving to Thailand soon. We didn’t want the setup to seem forced but something natural that gypsies would do to gather their friends together to celebrate their love.

We wanted to bring in elements of nature along with hippie treasures. Some main themes and elements seen throughout are antlers, arrows, organic fruits, Aztec and Indian prints mixed and matched with metallics… The invites are handwritten on leather attached to arrows, and the map is of the mountain and what will be going on during the gathering to celebrate their love. The personal Pomegranate Pies to go, as desserts.

We used instagrams from Courtney and Nathaniel’s personal journeys as favors at every place setting and for the Mr & Mrs Place cards which have saying from their vows on it. The shoot is supposed to go from the beginning of the day, Courtney getting ready, to the exit and all the details in between. The Colored Smoke was their exit.
