This Fine Art Wedding in Gold & Emerald is Sweet Like Honey

This gorgeous fine art wedding in Texas is bright and airy with the prettiest color palette of gold and emerald! Bianca Nichole Events planned this sweet like honey wedding design with honeycomb details in the signage and cocktails we are loving all the thoughtful details and the pop of vibrant yellow. Lucille Photo was there to capture every gorgeous moment and surprise, Bachelor fans: Alayah Benavidez is the model and we may or may not have had a fan girl moment.

From the photographer: The magic of a space like Prospect House is the minimalism. It’s a blank slate – a beautiful base for whatever vision it hosts on any given day. Bianca of Bianca Nichole Events was inspired by an emerald green jacket she had seen from The Black Tux. She envisioned it paired with soft yellow and gold tones, and thus the concept of Sweet Like Honey was born.

Honey-like details were woven throughout the photo-scape, from the soft yellow taper candles, to the honeycomb chocolates placed on each plate, to honeycomb signage and golden foliage for the flatlays.

What started off as a mostly fine art design direction began to take on a mid-century look, first with the selection of rental furniture from Birch and Brass, then with some of the tabletop items, and then with the golden backdrop provided by Lucille Photo for some studio-esque photos of the couple. The golden backdrop, golden chair, and pastel yellow florals created a tonal look reminiscent of a fashion editorial.

For our bridal model, we were thrilled to have Alayah Benavidez – who is currently making some serious waves a contestant on the current season of The Bachelor.
