Emerald 1970s Wedding Inspiration
Get ready, because this shoot from Jody Savage Photography has some serious style. Quyen and Michael are a real-life couple who are engaged to be married next year, and we love that she opted to wear an all-white jumpsuit in lieu of a long gown for this photoshoot! Florals from Uy-Lennon Flower & Design and some serious design input from Simply Loves are just the icing on the cake.
From the photographer, Jody Savage: We wanted to do something different – so my planner Shauna from Simply Loves and I collaborated to create a shoot that was different, edgy but still romantic. Macrame vases (threaded all the way from Peru), a pantsuit instead of the typical bridal gown, a beautiful classic car – a 1958 Jaguar XK150 – watercolor invitations. Quyen and Michael are a real couple in love getting married next Memorial weekend 2014 – we had a lot of fun. We decided to shoot in an abandoned car lot and I shot in film.

Love the invitation suite and the emerald accents are amazing!
Wow…..what a lovely wedding!
Love the emerald green touch. At first I was a little skeptical, but the green really props and give a freshness to wedding. Very Tastefully done.
This is so beautiful! I absolutely love the colors!
It is stunning to see emerald only on the details: bracelet, bow tie, etc..such a fresh, bold elegant vintage look ..
What a beautiful shoot! I love how they mixed things up to have a unique styled shoot. Jody is such a great photographer!
