Elegant Organic Mother Nature Inspired Shoot
We adore the concept behind today’s styled shoot — what would Mother Nature’s wedding look like? The answer, according to Lauren Gabrielle Photography, Shi Shi Events, and HeatherLily, is lush floral arrangements made up of peonies, garden roses, and berries, and a flowy wedding gown that Aphrodite herself would envy.
From the event designer, Gina of Shi Shi Events: In Cleveland, we definitely experience the full range of the four seasons. After a particularly long, cold winter this year I was very much inspired by this spring and that beautiful sense of the world waking up and blossoming again. This feeling lead me to think about what it would mean if Mother Nature were a bride and I created an inspirational shoot around it. I wanted the shoot to feel like all of the things I believe Mother Nature to be: bohemian, a bit glamorous, nurturing but powerful and ultimately beautiful.
I also felt it was important to have some baby animals included in the shoot as what’s more spring or more Mother Nature right? For the tablescape we developed a mix of floral pieces in gold vessels surrounded by antlers and set those pieces against vintage china and glassware and chic gold flatware. To add power and punch, our bride and groom’s chairs were draped in smilax and adorned with large horns which acted as place cards for our new “Mr” and “Mrs.” With the setting of a stunner of an apple orchard below us on a hillside I feel like we really captured the essence of Mother Nature at her very best.
