From Isabelle Hesselberg of 2 Brides Photography: Frida and Mikael live in Canada since Mikael is an NHL hockey player, and also the captain of the Swedish national hockey team. But when the time came to tie the knot, they decided on a destination wedding back in Sweden.

They planned a weekend with 100 of the closest family and friends at Skytteholms manor house outside of Stockholm, where having a fun and relaxed event took center stage. A beautiful location; Skytteholm, subtle blush bridesmaid gowns, and perfect tablescapes in tones of ivory, gold, and blush with pops of green.

Frida and Mikael’s wedding in Stockholm, Sweden was filled with those small but significant details that are so precious. The people that matter the most aren’t always around to see you get married. But they are still in our thoughts and hearts. My bride Frida wore her mother’s portrait in her bridal bouquet and a necklace with an angel that she got from her. She has also decided that if she ever gets a daughter, she will have that necklace.
