Colorful Modern Southern Wedding
Lilly Pulitzer was always known for throwing a party with a punch, and the same holds true for Tyler and Connor! We can’t wait to spill the juice on this whimsical North Carolina wedding, whose vibrant display of limes, lemons and oranges balanced with bright pops of pink are giving us major wedding envy. A peony-lover’s dream, The English Garden provided lush blooms in varying shades of pink to remind us that heaven is a place on earth, and Emily March Photography tells a wonderful story through her breathtaking collection of photos from the day. Abundant in gold, glitter, pineapples and confetti, this fabulous fete was fun and fancy free, and we can’t imagine a happier celebration. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the brilliance of A Southern Soiree to curate each detail, so be sure to read on and add more color to your day!
From the bride, Tyler: I envisioned a vibrant wedding, everyone having fun, just like a big party. My theme was Lilly Pulitzer; I have worked for the company and love everything about it. For my flowers I had peonies — they are my favorite and of course they had to be pink. Some advice I would give would be do not get stressed. Everything falls into place; it’s your wedding day have fun and enjoy it.
From the photographer, Emily March Photography: While working for Lilly Pulitzer, Tyler has grown to love the fashion brand and its namesake color – hot pink! With the designer in mind, Tyler filled her wedding with everything Lilly – bridesmaids’ dresses, pineapple accents, monograms and lots of pink. Lilly patterns adorned the groomsmen’s ties, seating chart and almost everywhere in between. A Southern Soiree did an amazing job making this Lilly Pulitzer paradise come to life, matching Tyler’s love for Lilly and Connor’s love for golf. At the end of the night, guests were treated to a table full of little gifts ranging from chocolate to pineapple bottle openers to golf tees. It truly was a day filled with this sweet couple’s favorite things.
