Citrus Wedding Inspo with a Modern LA Twist
We see trends come and go, but few are as good as the tropical wave. Stacy Able Photography dreamt up for a modern Los Angeles setting infused with citrus wedding ideas making this editorial an evergreen favorite. Loving the vintage VW at the end of the post!
From Stacy Able Photography: The idea of this style shoot came to play once it was titled “L.A. Modern”. Once the theme was determined, Coordinator Madeline Cerceo and Photographer Stacy Able excitedly bounced ideas back and forth. Over the course of a few months, they recruited a team of wedding professionals that could execute their ideas perfectly. The warmth of the wood flooring, walls, and staircase at the venue, Laurel Hall, against the bright pops of citrus tones were inspiring and such a refreshing change of pace to the current trends in the wedding industry. Whimsy was added with DIY neon signs, unicorn and cactus macarons, individual fruits as escort cards and a vintage VW van for the newlywed’s getaway car. The bride could not choose between the dress options from Lux Redux, so she opted to wear one for her ceremony, a quick change for the reception and a more casual dress to drive off to her honeymoon. As each dress had its own character and beautiful details, it is no surprise she had a hard time choosing just one dress!
