If this styled shoot from Sarah Houston Photography and Love Blooms has a point to prove, it’s that blush pink and gold will always be a winning combination. The team used the color palette against a crisp white background, making everything pop and seem that much more elegant.
From the photographer, Sarah Houston: I have always been a lover of a Blush & Gold palette (throw in some sparkles and it’s a dream come true!) so naturally when Sue reached out to me for a collaboration… well I jumped at the chance to do a Blush & Gold shoot at my favorite venue Rixey Manor. I know that the theme has been done in many ways, but I wanted to bring a classic, elegant approach to it with a white palette to really make it pop. I always love how white is a blank canvas and you can add layers to it to make it stand out.
I think the icing on the whole shoot for me was the Vera Wang blush wedding dress… I literally wanted to keep it forever. The sparkle bridesmaids gowns really bought it all together as well as the stunning florals that were a soft feminine color. I mean who doesn’t love gorgeous flowers? I honestly believe that Blush & Gold will always be a staple for wedding colors, because the possibilities are endless!
