Pretty in Pink: Charlottesville Destination Wedding at a Converted Stable
When we hear Charlottesville Destination Wedding it’s like music to our ears, so no wonder we’re obsessed with Rachael and Jeff’s Charlottesville destination wedding at a scenic farm and vineyard. Her two-piece blush gown is enough to steal the show, but factor in crystal chandeliers, lush peonies and a dog named Mowgli, and we just can’t choose a favorite aspect. Prepare yourself now to say ooh. la. la.
These fairytale stills from Audra Wrisley Photography have our heads spinning in the best kind of way. We’re completely enamored by the mountainous scenes and idyllic details.
Can The Local be our best friends and coordinate every party of our future? This fete is bursting with fanciful decor that only enhance the character of the property further.
We knew a familiar source was to thank for this two-piece strapless blush wedding dress. BHLDN slays once again with enough romance to make even Rhett Butler sweat. If you’re a fan of colorful dresses, you just may like this one too!
And wow, this ruffle + brushstroke cake with gold foil from Passionflower Cakes is making us wish it’s what we had for breakfast.
From the photographer, Audra Wrisley: Rachael and Jeff’s Mount Ida Lodge Wedding was one of those dreamy days that you never want to end! Full of love, laughter, pastel tones and all the peonies, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a sweet couple in love. Rachael and Jeff live in New Jersey and planned a destination wedding for their family and friends, to come down south and get a taste of gorgeous Charlottesville, Virginia and it’s rolling hills and majestic sunsets. Their adorable dog Mowgli joined in the celebrations, and was the most well behaved ring bearer for their ceremony under a giant tree and beautifully adorned arbor, overlooking one of the prettiest Charlottesville landscapes. Rachael’s gorgeous 2 piece blush gown was such a showstopper and looked incredible paired with the hand-painted veil and lavender accents throughout the day.
Those pretty pink blooms? Mhmm. You can thank The Arrangement Company for the eye candy!
Okay let’s talk about this venue. Mount Ida Farm was a horse stable in the early 1900’s and just look at it now! Cedar barn doors, exposed oak beams, vaulted ceilings with crystal chandeliers… stay in our hearts forever.
Her natural hair and makeup look from Elle Style Studio denotes charm if we ever saw it. Simply divine, darling!
