Sonia and Mu tied the knot at a breathtaking ranch wedding in the golden hills of California. Lovely Time Weddings & Events brilliantly used hues of terracotta and brick in boho accents and wispy florals to create an intimate setting. With a touch of dried botanicals and acrylic accents, this gorgeous wedding captured by VID Studio is just what we needed to warm right up during the winter. From the designer, Lovely Time Weddings & Events: Meeting the bride, Sonia for the first time, our team immediately recognized that she wasn’t a typical bride. Her bubbly personality would bring a smile to anyone near her. She’d let us know of her and Mu’s romance living in Berkeley during her university life, having fallen in love with the East Bay summers and hills covered with golden grass.
While looking for a suitable venue for the couple planning abroad, we’d discovered Reinstein Ranch with a beautiful rustic barn surrounded by the golden East Bay hills. We knew we’d found the perfect venue.
For the color palette, we wanted to bring in this year’s trending terracotta color and adobe brick elements, having taken on the beautiful color through exposure and baking under the sun or accepting heat in a kindle. We were able to use a bohemian style to bring together the rustic ranch and homey decor.
With selection of the venue and theme, Sonia and Mu collaborated to come up with the theme of the wedding “True Love Brings Freedom” showing how the couple can be their true selves, live the life they want while loving the best of each other.
