Brilliant Wedding Design Inspired by Paper Goods
We couldn’t agree more with Frances of Prema Style when she said “Honing in on the style that resonates for you and your fiance (and the type of event right for you both) helps tell your story in an authentic and harmonious way.” This styled shoot was put together to showcase three unique styles inspired by various wedding invitation suites and stationery, and each of the looks is a positively stunning celebration of its own theme. Thank you Megan W Photography for your beautiful images!
From the stylist, Frances Harjeet of Prema Style: Your wedding is an opportunity to share your story with those that you love in a beautiful and meaningful way. Personalization is in the details. Honing in on the style that resonates for you and your fiance (and the type of event right for you both) helps tell your story in an authentic and harmonious way. In this editorial, we’ve chosen three distinct paper suites to style with corresponding details to show how you can connect your wedding style throughout the planning process and celebration. Your paper goods set the tone for your guests, since receiving a Save the Date or Invitation will be their initial introduction to your event. We encourage couples to be creative in the manner they carry the aesthetic of the paper goods into the styling for their big day.
Stunning Floral: Bright and bold, this watercolor invitation suite is all sorts of fun. We imagine this wedding with a poppy Palm Springs vibe with MidMod accents. Warm and sunny, these paper goods call for flirty fashion, cheerful pink blooms and citrus-infused cocktails. An assortment of sweet confections, petit fours and tartelettes of raspberry and pistachio offer a delightful alternative to the standard wedding cake. Colorful vintage stamps and personalized stickers add even more charm to this spunky and stylish wedding.
Marbled Chic: This paper suite is classic and formal, perfect for a Black-Tie wedding for two very chic grooms. We chose timeless florals; freesia and calla lilies in a monochromatic palette. Elegant sterling silver pieces for the table-scape, tall white tapered candles, rich ivory lines with crisp black accents further establish the aesthetic. Inspired by the marbled paper backing on the invitation, we incorporated details using this refined marbled look into other aspects of the styling. This is a wedding perfectly suited for silk bow-ties, mother of pearl cufflinks, decadent chocolate cake, champagne towers, a big band playing jazz favorites, and frolicking in fountains after midnight.
Fairytale Romance: Just like an 18th century painting in a carved gilded frame, this suite transports us to another time and place. Magical and dreamy, we were swept away by the romantic feel of this trifold invitation. Soft pastel florals, antiqued gold and silver tarnished with verdigris, lush ferns and draping vines, the elements for this set are natural, delicate and rich with stories. A hand-painted cake, inspired by the painterly aesthetic of the invitation is draped with demure greenery and the sweetest little blooms of “Love-in-a-Mist.” With this styling, our bride, adorned in fine Belgian lace and sparkling diamonds, steps straight out of a fairytale book into her real life romance.
So inspiring! Beautiful work!
