Bright Spring Wedding at Terrain
The adorableness in this wedding is off the charts today! This wedding shot by Emily Wren Photography not only has heaps of love between Amy and Sergey, but it’s also covered in endearing homages to family and heritage. Like Emily says, the couple picked out a bold and beautiful color palette with rich, rustic orange tones at the heart of it. Surrounding this palette is a theme of organic details and floral creations by Terrain, and the style fits so fluidly with the romantic venue.
From the photographer, Emily Wren Photography: As my first wedding of the season, Amy’s brightly colored rich and bold blooms were a sight for sore eyes! These two and their beautiful wedding were a breath of fresh air! Quick to laugh and so bubbly with love for one another. Celebrating family was the central theme to this Russian / Jewish wedding. Amy said her vows in Sergey’s native Russian, and he said his in Hebrew. Then family members from both sides of the aisle gave the traditional 7 blessing at the ceremony.
During the reception there were many toasts and blessings offered, and the mother of the bride provided her handmade challah which was passed at all the tables! Serge’s Russian heritage was further incorporated into the wedding day by using Russian nesting dolls for the place cards. Terrain decorated the rustic dining room with hanging terra-cotta pots featuring bold and bright spring florals for a stately effect with sweet boho undertones! The tables were decorated with natural dyed orange muslin and lose greenery for the runners with terra cotta pots and blue hand blown glass containers for candle holders. Nutmeg Cake Design crafted a stunning Oreo-cookie cake that looked as delicious as it tasted!
