We’ve shared a few colorful and fun Indian weddings in the past but this Bollywood North Wedding is one for the books. This multicultural wedding is a perfect combination of East-meets-West with a tropical punch. If you were looking for a whimsical modern loft wedding inspiration, take a good look below:
From Melissa Lucan of Lustre Events: Adrienne and Ravi’s wedding certainly doesn’t fit into any one box. They are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met and all they really wanted was a great day with their very close friends and family. A focus on culture, community, food, and clearly as you’ll see in all the photos, lots of dancing!
Our inspiration was “Bollywood North”. Bringing both Indian and Canadian culture into the day with traditions, flavours, colours, and music! They started their day with a customary Hindu ceremony at the most stunning temple. What a gorgeous location with so much rich detail.
Later in the evening, they hosted their core group for an amazing dinner experience. They wanted a wow factor and we think all the pattern, colour, and the crazy cool tropical ceiling treatment delivered! Juicy blooms, fresh fruit, patterns from India, and the entire rainbow transported guests to an Indian paradise in a downtown gallery space!
Everyone feasted amongst colourful candlelight and the fumes of fresh citrus. No words seem to translate clearly how beautiful all the florals from Tanya List were. To say it was a magical setting is an understatement. All of their guests experienced a piece of them that evening, and we are so honoured to have created it for them!
