Bold Copper Bridal Inspiration with a Drippy Cake
There’s no better time of year – it’s true! And since we’re all about fall, it’s only fitting that we share this seasonal stunner with you today. Sarah Libby Photography captures the metallic glow of every design detail from Forever Cole Events – we’re talking hand lettered acrylics, velvet lounge furniture and a drippy cake with copper enhancements from tier to tier! It doesn’t get much better than this crisp, autumnal shoot!
From the photographer, Sarah Libby Photography: As we transition into the fall season, Heather of Forever Cole Events and Sarah Libby Photography wanted to shoot bridal inspiration showing off bold coppers, blues, and grays and loads of contrast. We specifically chose Morgan (a recent newlywed!) as our bride with her short, blunt bob since her look is non-traditional. We wanted brides to see you don’t have to have long hair for a killer wedding look. We used her natural curl as a base and gave lots of volume and added a bold copper eye to really make her look pop. She wore a Willowby by Watters silhouette gown to keep a sleek and modern look. The couch and chairs from Borrowed Charm in the deep blue were chosen for their handsome, masculine look to add an edge to her bridal session.
The Manor at Coffee Creek served as our backdrop with their clean white space and amazing pool area that fit right into our dream bridal shoot with all the amazing shades of blue. We incorporated pops of copper details and amazing, custom handmade acrylic invitations & signage. Amy Cakes provided us with the most rad, non traditional wedding cake we have ever seen. Chocolate molded to look like copper metal adorns the top of the cake and your crazy if you don’t try to steal one of those macaroons off the top! Overall, we want our brides to see that you can stay true to your own style and have a killer bridal session!
