Bohemian Chic Courthouse Wedding
We love courthouse weddings for a myriad of reasons. One of them being is that it’s the perfect solution for couples who aren’t into having a big wedding event, but would still like to celebrate it with close family and friends. Instead of eloping (the polar opposite of a big wedding), Neal and Sarah said their I Dos at city hall then made their way to meet with family for dinner, bringing Maritha Mae Photography along the way.
From the photographer, Maritha: The minute they popped out of the limo, I was in love! If I could combine boho with urban chic, this wedding would definitely be it! Sarah and Neal had a courthouse wedding in downtown Santa Ana, CA, and had me come alongside them for their after session and reception celebrated with a tight network of family and friends around the busy street life around the Memphis Cafe at the Santora. Sarah is an incredibly caring, fun, and creative Home Ec teacher and Neal works in the financial field. Sarah was going for a non-traditional, bohemian look hence the other-than lace dress, flow-y bouquet and handmade wreath. Neal was sporting the handsomest polka dot bow tie, suit and black suede shoes that just make you swoon. I loved how totally in love they are and how they expressed that love and everything in between. Such a perfect pair.

Just discovered your blog & I love it!!
Stunning elegance and styling. This is one of the better weddings showcased here! Very well done!
Great color pallette! Gotta love couples that place a focus and make time to nail great pics.
The groom’s tie is the highlight.
Gotta love the succulents with the flowers! Cracked up at “Instead of eloping (the polar opposite of a big wedding), Neal and Sarah said their I Dos at city hall”. I think eloping is romantic but I love this wedding too LOL!
Probably a long shot, but do you know where she got her dress from? I love it! Perfect for my courthouse wedding in a couple months.
