It isn’t every day you come across a wedding with a dream team as good as Nick Radford, Firefly Events, and Violet and Verde, so we’re thrilled to be sharing Emily and Matt’s wedding with you all! This creative couple hired some of the Northeast’s most talented vendors to bring their dream day to fruition, using a color palette of neutrals like ivory, blush pink, and pale peach. We absolutely love the result!

From the event designers, Firefly Events: It was such a pleasure to be a part of Emily + Matt’s love story! These two have an energy that is truly contagious, and we were eager to bring their fun and creative spirit to the forefront of their wedding day.

Caramoor provided a stunning natural backdrop for the happy couple to exchange their vows and dance the night away with their nearest and dearest. The ceremony was truly a family affair with Emily’s older brother officiating, her younger brother playing guitar for the processional, and both Emily’s sister, and Matt’s brother serving as maid of honor and best man. In fact, one thing that drew them to Caramoor for the site of their wedding, was the fact that Emily’s Grandpa lives just a few minutes away, and the family had spent time here when Emily was a child.

Some of our favorite details of the night included hand dyed napkins and hand painted escort cards, both in soft shades of pink and peach to offset all the beautiful florals and soft candle light from Violet + Verde. Romantic calligraphy from Anne Robin could be found throughout the wedding, including the invitations, the escort cards, placed at each guest’s seat.

  • We love black tie events! There is something so beautiful about a classic, elegant event. And most guests love the excuse to pamper themselves and get all dressed up! If you are doing black tie, it’s important to find a venue that can support your wishes. Whether its the beauty of a marble aisle or rolling up to your ceremony in a vintage Rolls Royce (features we love at Pristine Chapel Lakeside), those unique details will truly make you feel like royalty.

  • Such a peaceful vibe! Love Nick Radford’s photography, very clean and calm. Would love to have my wedding day look like this.
